Sustainable innovations for decarbonisation and renewables
BUILDING A BETTER FUTURE WITH BIOMASS
Biomass Industries Australia (BIA) specialises in the cultivation, harvesting, and conversion of various species of pest weeds, energy crops and agricultural waste into carbonised biomass pellets, biochar and other renewables.
Committed to environmental stewardship, circular economy principles and utilising emerging technologies, BIA are also exploring innovative solutions for plastic waste and utilisation of biomass processing by-products such as biochar, for various agricultural applications and conversion to graphene.
BIA’s hub model sets out to empower farmers and landowners to rejuvenate their land, diversify and improve returns and build resilience against adverse weather events.
Through strategic partnerships and collaboration with landholders and farmers, we not only promote sustainable land management practices but also generate economic opportunities for local communities.
We are ready to launch
BIA is in ‘ready to launch’ phase with its pilot plant planned for Innisfail in North Queensland.
Our pilot plant will demonstrate a scalable and transferable biomass hub that enables local communities to generate biomass pellets and biochar from harvested woody weeds, energy crops and agricultural waste.
Within the next 12 months, we aim to export our carbonised biomass pellets and graphene to domestic and international markets, playing a vital role in the transition towards a greener, more sustainable future.
We are open to investment opportunities that align with our vision to strive for a world where renewable energy sources drive progress, and natural resources are utilised responsibly, ensuring a thriving planet for generations to come.
